Arsenal to sign back up keeper

Arsenal have stepped up their search to find a second goalkeeper to challenge Wojciech Szczesny for the number one spot next season and have singled out Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero as their number one target. According to the Mirror, Arsene Wenger is keen to make a summer move for Caballero at an estimated £7million having lost back-up Lukasz Fabianski to Swansea City on a free last week. Fabianski was used as Wenger’s FA Cup and Capital One Cup goalkeeper last season, earning himself an FA Cup winner’s medal for his heroics during the semi-final penalty shoot-out against Wigan Athletic. His departure has left Arsenal in need of a summer signing having just youth goalkeepers on their books behind Szczesny at present. Caballero is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in Spain at present and is also wanted by Atletico Madrid who are preparing to lose Thibaut Courtois when he returns to Chelsea after three years on loan
